The image of the spiritual life as a journey captures our experience like few others. Journeys involve movement, action, stops, starts, detours, delays, and trips into the unknown.
There will be times when your journey of faith will require us to make a visit to the Wall—or, as the ancients called it, “the dark night of the soul.” Everyone at some point in his or her life will have to confront the Wall. The Wall invites us to serious reflection on the nature and quality of our life, faith, and calling.
